We can feel that the urban area where I live is so much hotter than the rural area. Furthermore, there is less wind. The picture is a park, with a lot of trees and green spaces. In the urban area, on the other side, we can see a lot of high buildings, a lot of concrete, so much cars circulating on the streets, a poor public transportation system, a lack of parks, and others. 3. Which are the measures you would propose? Improve the public transportation system, to change the buses to less polluting ones and reduce the number of cars in the streets; create more parks and green areas; plant more trees; invest in better technology; use green roofs and green curtains, and others. 4. Is UHI effect concerning policy making in your area? I don't know any policy to improve the situation, just a concern to plant trees in the central areas.
