Which are your top livability criteria? My top 5 livability criteria are as follows: 1. Environment 2. Housing 3. Economy 4. Transportation 5. Safety Why do we live where we live? Kingston Jamaica. I live here because I was born here, I went to school here as well. They have great beaches, wonderful mountains and good healthy local food. It has great culture in all the arts such as sports, visual arts, music and dance. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? Environment (65%) Housing (45%) Culture (75%) Health Care (50%) Safety (45%) On a scale from 1-100, I would give Kingston Jamaica 45% rate of livability. In Kingston, there is alot of poverty, which is a catalyst for crime and violence. Political corruption is rampant here and infrastructure is in desperate need of repair. What would you change? I would improve the following: infrastructure, proper waste management and invest in recycling programs, public transportation, reduce parking lots and provide more green public open spaces, and affordable housing. Why do we move?
