My list: education job opportunities safety transportation infrastructure I live in Porto Alegre city because I'm currently studying Architecture and Urbanism at PUCRS and my wife has a good job here. These are the main reasons to remain here, but also because my family lives here as well, because my wife and I have build a house in Porto Alegre and now is being difficult to sell it. And finally because we have two big dogs that need space to play and run. The safety in Porto Alegre nowadays is a big issue (many good people are being killed) and the public transportation isn't good enough, my wife and I have cars because of that. So, I'll probably rate my residence place with a grade of 55 over a possible total of 100. The first measure I'll take to improve livability is increase the safety in the city and somehow attract new jobs and put more children at school. We are indeed thinking to move to another country someplace in Europe (I have Italian citizenship), Canada or Australia.
