I am from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and I live here for the following reasons: 1- Safety: It is a very safe place to live in. Children can go alone anywhere without them being kidnapped, Women can walk alone even at night without any discomfort, and very low record of crimes. 2- Education: Education is available for everyone with very high standards. 3- Recreational Activities: there are lots of recreational spaces in Jeddah where people enjoy spending there time, specially along the seashore. 4- Business Opportunities: if you have lived here all your life, the possibility of having a good job from the beginning is quite high. 5- Infrastructure: high quality infrastructure which makes it easy to and interesting to explore the city. 3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfil your ideal livability criteria? 1- Safety (95) 2- Health Care (95) 3- Education (90) 4- Infrastructure (80) 5- Economy (80) Overall livability score is (85) 4. What would you change? The main think I would change in Jeddah is to improve the green infrastructure. For example, add more public gardens, more trees in the street, … etc. 5. Why do we move? I would choose to go to London (UK), Berlin (Germany), or Toronto (Canada). These cities, in my opinion are one of the most livable cities because they have high rates of safety, health care, education, infrastructure, economy, and also great job opportunities.
