My city is Rome 1) Geneva, Switzerland 2) Amsterdam, Netherlands 3) Montreal, Canada 4) Bolzano, Italy 5) Milan, Italy 1) Safety : Rome is a quite safe city although there are some suburban areas in which social issues are increasing year by year) 2) Transportations System : The lack of an efficient transportation system lead people to prefer private cars. 3) Pollution/Climate : The climate is very good but pollution is not. 4) Size of the city: Rome is a large and sprawled city , with its districts often far away from each others 5) Cultural offer: The offerings of cultural events is not bad, even if a bit poor if compared with others cities. Apart from safety and cultural offerings, the other three characteristics are strictly connected to one another. At the top of the government agenda it should be the improvement of the public transportation system in order to effectively attract commuters from private car to public transit itself.
