Traffic is bad in the urban center and the residential areas are in the periphery of the core. Schools, offices, commercial establishments are dispersed inside the Metro hence, traffic gridlocks occur. Pedestrian access is also a main concern. Walkability is definitely connected to Livability in the city sense. All three routes amount to more than an hour of travel time, thus, as stated in the lectures, livability and sustainability of the city declines. The level of “happiness” also decreases while travelling the busy streets of Metro of Lima.
