1. Which are your top livability criteria? For me, the top-5criteria that contribute the most to a city's livability are 1. Sanitation Standards 2. Environment 3. Housing 4. Economy 5. Infraestructure 2. Why do we live where we live? I live in a city called Belo Horizonte, in Minas Gerais, Brazil. I live here, first of all, because my family lives here, so here are my roots. The second reason for me to live here is that the city has a decent sanitation standards, that can provide me decent conditions to live. The third reason is environment. I have enough water, clean air and live in a good climate. The city has a lot of trees, as we can see in the picture. Than comes neighborhood - I have acess to life, job opportunities, a good university, leasure options, and others. The last reason is for me to live here is thee city's infraestructure. 3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? On a scale to rate my ideal livability criteria, I would rate the city 70/100. It doesn't have sanitation for everyone, it has problems with water, and too much social inequality. On a general livability score, I would also rate in 70/100. The city has a lot of opportunities, but not for everyone, it has to much traffic and public transportation is really expensive and inefficient . On the other side, it has a lot of schools, hospitals, good climate, and others. 4. What would you change? I would provide sanitation for everyone, as well as education and health. I would also invest in a better transportation public system, as subway, for exemple. 5. Why do we move? In Brazil, I would move to Florianopolis, because it has good sanitation standards and enviornment, good economy, high life expectancy, decent health care and neighborhood. Outside Brazil I would like to live in Vienna, due to its great infraestructure, housing, enviornment, neighborhood and opportunity. Another city is Melbourne, that has really good indices of safety, healthcare, educational resources, infrastructure and environment.
