below our apartment there are vegetable vendors. they represent the stock and flows of food and people. they come from north India migrating to earn a living in the city. they live in different part of Mumbai which is cheap. they come in the morning from vegetable market from their area like Vashi or virar to Andheri to sale the vegetables. they stay during the day. in the evening they leave from here. and the routine repeats. hardly any food is grown locally in Mumbai. all the food comes from small villages nearby. there are also people who come to work in mumbai. the new mumbai is built by converting the marshy lands into habitable land.. 1. people 2. food 3. land
