1. My top livability criteria: - Job opportunities - Environment - Recreation Possibilities - Education - Housing 2. I’m now living in Rennes – a medium-size city in the west of France with about 250000 inhabitants. 5 reasons that I’ve chosen to live here are: - Relative low living cost in compare to other cities in France - Good environment with a low density - The city is quite dynamic in terms of cultural activities - It’s safe and calm enough for me to concentrate on my work - The city has a good strategy with sustainable development policies 3. I’d rate my city 80/100 in my own criterias and 85/100 in general 4. The first thing I would change is to propose more activities on the street (the city is still a little boring and not dynamic enough in compare to the cultural richness of Hanoi – where I had lived before I moved to France). For me the only problem with the “livable cities” now – just like you have said- is that they are somehow too boring. Besides, I would also invest more in new startup enterprises in order to improve the economic situation and to have more job for the people. 5. 3 places that I would like to live in: - Lyon, France - Rotterdam, Netherlands - Toronto, Canada 5 qualities of these cities: - Cultural richness – Instant inspirations - Sustainable development - High living standards - Good environment - Possibilities to travel
