1_The list of the five most livable cities that i have visited is: 1- Nagoya, Japan. 2- Osaka, Japan. 3- Berlin, Germany. 4- Oporto, Portugal. 5- Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The picture i upload is from Nagoya, Japan. The city is perfectly safe and hygienic, there is a high offer of job, and has a very strong culture, like Tokyo and Osaka, but with a more "liveable" enviroment: more public spaces and parks, better city plans... (note: this is a top-5 list from the cities where i have lived or that i have visited, my experience is reduced only to Europe and part of Asia, so i don´t know at first hand the livable conditions of cities from North or South America, Africa, Australia... 2_In the other hand, the list of the characteristics that make a city liveable for me is: 1- Hygiene: sanitation and cleaning services, public space cleaning, garbage collection services ... 2- Safety: low crime rate, safety in the pedestrian streets and traffic... 3- Busynes conditions: abundance of jobs for people of various studies and ages, good working conditions... 4- Cultural environment: network of cultural places and attractions within the city and easy public access to culture services. 5- Public transport and access to goods and services from within the city and with the exterior. 3_The city where i´m living now, and my birth city, is Elche, in Spain. Its a small city of 300.000 habitants, and related to the top-5 list of liveable city characteristics: 1- Hygiene: 7/10_The city is very clean, but the garbage collection services are not so good as they should be. 2- Safety: 5/10_The city is safe in almost all areas, but there are two informal zones not very integrated in the city, where the vulnerable collectives are segregated and the crime rate increases. 3- Busynes conditions: 2/10_There is few jobs for young people, who normally have to migrate to other cities. 4- Cultural environment: 9/10_Elche has a strong culture, with two World Heritage, and a network of cultural activities, almost all free to the public. 5- Public transport and access to goods and services from within the city and with the exterior: 6/10_Good public transport and airport presence, but the price of this transport is too expensive, and the connections with other cities is not so good.
