This is located reasonably within the vicinity of my former school and my current work place. 3. Family reasons – near their work and school also. 4. Cost of living is fairly inexpensive. 5. Sufficient open spaces and greenery. III. Ideal Livability Criteria: Based on the criteria I selected – Environment, Economy, Infrastructure, Job Opportunities and Political Stability; I give a rating of (84) for my place of residence. The breakdown of ranking is as follows: Criteria Rating (1-100) 1. Environment 90 2. Economy 92 3. Infrastructure 78 4. Job Opportunities 85 5. Political Stability 79 Average 84.80 IV. If I were Mayor of Quezon City, I would straightway improve Infrastructure to increase the city’s livability. Roads and pedestrian walkways must be clutter and obstruction free. I would give back the road to the vehicles and the sidewalks to the pedestrians. Vehicles must travel smoothly and people must move conveniently and safely to their destination. Mobility is directly connected to economy and productivity. Next would be upholding of peace and order. Safety and security of the residents including their properties must be monitored and polished. This is due to the reason that the city’s crime incidence rate is relatively high – based on news and personal experience. V. If I were to relocate: Top places to relocate if given a chance: 1. Sydney, Australia 2. Singapore 3. Israel (5) Qualities for consideration: 1. Close to nature and with ample open spaces. 2. Stable economy. 3. Job availability and provision. 4. Low crime rate and stable economy – with law & order. 5. Family oriented – gives priority to family.
