Our habitat is maintained through a series of walking paths and green spaces. Spearfish is built along a creek that has numerous parks and green spaces to be enjoyed by the citizens. The walkways are great in the summer, spring, and fall. During the winter months they are sometimes covered with ice but that doesn't stop people from enjoying them on bikes or walking. The parks provide a social meeting area and the walkways between them provide areas for recreation, exercise, and socializing.
