Green space Lack of crime Cultural assets Advanced transportation systems Lack of pollution Waco's green space is concentrated in one main park called Cameron Park, but it tends to attract "undesirables." Waco's crime is directly related to America's obsession with gun ownership. Waco's cultural assets while not nearly as interesting as a city in Europe, could still be positively exploited to increase tourism. Waco needs to be a stop on a high-speed train system connecting Dallas/ Fort Worth and San Antonio. Waco is starting to experience worse air quality due to the increase of coal-fired energy plants. I'm not optimistic there's not a tremendous amount that can be done here to improve things. People are just so backwards, it drives me crazy.
