In image below you can see (even if information is just available in Spanish) based on meteorological National Center, climate behaviour from approximately 60 years ago to nowadays. The maximum temperature reported is 43 degrees Celsius in April 1950. ![Aguascalientes Historic weather][1] I compared temperature differences between Aguascalientes and San Francisco de los Romo, a near rural location to 23km from Aguascalientes urban area. ![ingrese la descripción de la imagen aquí][2] What I realised is Temperature difference is approximately 1degree celsius between Urban and near Urban area. What is also representative of my city is the great temperature difference we achieve from morning to Midday, especially during winter time, what always come into illness to population. Another problem we get due to our central geographical condition is drought, which in recent years becomes more every time evident. ![ingrese la descripción de la imagen aquí][3] ![ingrese la descripción de la imagen aquí][4] Q3. My place is a city which is just starting development, that means, major part of architecture and urbanisation are not defined yes. That means I have a blank space to make any proposal before to be too late. I would definitely make development plan according to latest researches and scientific tests. Aguascalientes has a very peculiar and strong sun radiation impact, our UV rates are usually the highest ones, but we're unfortunately wasting this natural resource, I would aim investment and efforts to profit. By this way we easily could decentrilize power supply. Each neighbourhood might generate its own energy. Also industry could benefit from this. We would be making a great change by using clean energy from the sun, enough to satisfy City needs. Q4. By this time no action is being taken to reduce UHI, as there's very poor information and concern about this subject. People is not really interested to make any change as nobody really thinks this is a problem which affects to us. Even if we feel it more every time. There's is so much ignorance, I include myself and the rest of Architects, engineers and urban developers. We're most interested on building and urban appearance than a real understanding and research of the impact it generates to itself and surronding area.
