Fossil fuels(own production & imported) that are used on majority (excluding exports and are Coal (338.1 Mtoe total) , Oil Products (178.9 Mtoe total) & Natural Gas (44.4 Mtoe) 2.Where are the fossil fuels dominantly used for in your country? In India, the three major areas where fossil fuels are dominantly used are for Power generation(244.7 Mtoe) Industry(116.5 Mtoe) & Transport (77.8 Mtoe). 3.I would increase renewable energy sources and production & decrease use of non-renewable energy sources. Utilisation of Bio fuels & waste in other sectors such as fuel production, to reduce consumption of fossil fuels for transportation will be encouraged. Transportation can also be supplemented with solar energy. Electricity generation that consumes a lot of coal and other fossil fuels and has huge amount of power loss should be slowly replaced by generation of electricity used Solar, Wind and other sustainable methods.
