To the north we have a more desert type of climate, to the south there's a green corridor of vegetation surrounded by mountains, but it is rapidly being destroyed due to uncontrolled urbanization. ![San Pedro Garza Garcia][1] ![surrounding area][2] I would propose a better public transportation system to reduce the existing motor pool, create city hubs that provide comercial and office spaces near apartment buildings instead of having everything so far away. And to create more green areas inside the city and study the old building systems used in the region, from materials, to design so we don't depend on AC. I don't know of any green policy in our city, there is a tendency but nothing solid to work on, I don't think it's been given the attention that is needed.
