The UHI Effect is present in almost all cities in the USA. And top cities are Salt Lake City, Miami and Louisville. **2. Which are the main UHI effects that you can identify in your area?** According to the National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change (Mexico) in my city Puebla, the Heat Island Effect is about 4.7 degrees Celsius. And the main effect, aside from the increase of the temperature, is more electricity consumption on summer especially. **3. Which are the measures you would propose?** I would propose to create more green areas, introduce roof and wall gardens in houses and buildings. Also make a more efficient transportation system with longer routes and with a more passenger capacity so we can reduce the use of private vehicles on the city. **4.
