OIL PRODUCTS Where are the dominant fossil fuels mainly used for in your country TRANSPORTATION - ROAD It is your task to create a new policy in order to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy of your country. How would you do that? In Mexico the most used source is the oil products, used for transportation in roads. What i will see as an alternative to solve these high demand is new ways of transportation: Facts: the geographic extension of the country demands long distances from cities, the main transportation use is roads, the rais is only used to industry exports, and just 3 cities have transportation in metro. Macro. 1. Reactivate the Rail system for people transportation and link all the states with rail connections. 2. Focus the roads with more traffic and propose a green transportation (train). Inside cities: 1. Redesign Urban transportatio, provide each city with better bus sistem. 2. More Metro or Metrobus plans for more cities, 3.
