Apart from that, an other great reason for that is the dense built environment and the materiality. 3. If I had the chance I would propose measures that would lead to a kind of rarefaction of the buildings or something equivalent to that. An urgent measure would be the adoption of contemporary isolation materials. 4. The only policy in my community that really reduces the UHI effect is a generous subsidy for using or replacing isolation materials
