This is a picture of an expansion area of the city. Lima has grown on its own, with auto construction. First the land has been invaded, then the houses constructed in different phases over the years and after the city has been consolidated, the services, such as water, electricity and infrastructure, have had to find a way to supply this new area of the city. It is a process that takes many years and the result is a chaotic system, where the cables are becoming the protagonist in the city. As it can be seen in the picture, there are a great number of cables crossing the highway, and in every direction.
