As a person who lives in the middle east, out standards or priorities for livability is kind of different. While other societies are concentrating on the importance of environment and the ways and methods for maintaining it to grant a better air and a better health, we thrive for a glimpse of safety. 1- **Livability:** The possibility to live safe, in a city where you can have a decent job and have and affordable house, and an easy way to transport from your house to your job of school. 2- Livability is living in a city where you don't feel intimidated everywhere you go, and feel safe for your family to be left alone at home, while you go trying to earn them a source of life. In addition for the importance of opportunities to be found in the city, for the fact that as long as an opportunity is found for the community, the city will attract more investors, which will affect the economy of the city positively, eventually. After that comes the importance of affordable housing. And then, transportation, engagement, environment and neighborhood. 5- ![Scores changes][1] Depending on my customized scores, I believe that the score in NY downgraded because Housing and Opportunity is not its strong merits when it comes to the overall livability score. While in Iowa, the score went up a notch. Anyhow, I didn't have any big differences in the scores because I believe that no category is not important, so basically I chose what's the most important category among all the seven important categories.
