The quality of life, usually in an urban setting, where the accessibility to needs and services contributes to overall well-being; livable acts. It is also the sum of the factors that add up to a community’s quality of life—including factors as economic, prosperity, social stability and equity, educational opportunity, and cultural, entertainment and recreation possibilities. **2.If you need to define livability with the following terms, how would you rank them? (1: most important - 7: least important) (Housing, Neighborhood, Transportation, Environment, Health, Engagement, Opportunity)** 1.Transportation (safe and convenient options) 2.Health (prevention, access and quality) 3.Environment (clean air and water) 4.Opportunity (inclusion and possibilities) 5.Housing (affordability and access) 6.Neighborhood (access to life, work and play) 7.Engagement (civic and social involvement) **3.Choose three cities (I make 2 cities) in the United States (preferable cities in different states) and go to the following webpage: https://livabilityindex.aarp.org. Search for the chosen cities at the livability index.** San Francisco, Chicago **4.Have a look at the livability scores. How high is the livability score of every city? Please note the scores of this question in a table like the one below.** ![enter image description here][1] ![enter image description here][2] **5.How much has the livability score of every city changed? Please note the scores of this question in a table like the one below.** City Livability Score Customized Livability Score Change (+/-) San Francisco 66 85 +19 Chicago 53 74 +21 **6.Can you explain the change in livability scores of your cities? Do this on basis of the terms in your ranking** In my opinion for a better livability Transportation is very important. Green, electric, fast and non-pollution transportation. Because of this is the most important factor of livability in my ranking. The scores of livability of San Francisco and Chicago went up after shifting the bars according to my ranking. The big cities have better scores rather than the smaller city, That’s why they have underground, highways and more capability of mobilization.
