Here in the photograph, we can see how metal composite panels and wooden composite panels, along with the use of glass with UPVC sections form skin of this building. It is in stark contrast to a thatch hut in the picture foreground. This 'modern' building, made for Mcdonalds restaurant is situated on a national highway in northern part of India and this Thatch hut is prevalent vernacular tradition of making building in those parts. In this place this hut hosts a tea stall for tourists and travellers.
