Rondo 1 highrise erected in the capitol of Poland in 2006 is an example of global economy at play in the construction field, even though its main components were in fact not imported from overseas. The global aspect is clearly visible in the financial structure as well as the project management. The building was designed by an American office in collaboration with Polish architects, while both the company acting both as an investor and the general constructor originated in Germany, but is now owned by a Spanish capital group.
