The inclusion of materials and processes that point to a globalised economy is quite striking, and it’s worth noting that both processes (construction & destruction) are making use of those processes and materials. **Labour input** - the vast majority of Singapore labourers are from India. Many of whom travel from across the border from Malaysia where they are living, as it’s cheaper to live there. **Steel** - Singapore has many steel distributors/sellers, but the iron ore is most likely to come from countries like Australia and Russia, which sell their iron ore to countries like China. From there it makes its way to Singapore. Some processed steel also comes directly from Australia. **Equipment** - Komatsu-Japanese, Volvo-Swedish, Ryobi-Japanese, Hitachi-Japanese
