This picture shows one of the most representative constructions in Mexico City. The Olympic Stadium is located in the main campus of the National University of Mexico, and was build with local materials of the Pedregal area, named like that because all of the volcanic rock created after the explosion of Xitle volcano. Also, is visible that the second most used material in the stadium is concrete, one of the most produced material in my country. The architects try to mix the old and the new Mexico, and all of the Ciudad Universitaria (main university campus of UNAM) is now recognized as al world heritage for humanity by UNESCO.
