With the industrialization of the building construction this distance has expanded. Metallic elements like rebars and scaffoldings are being delivered from the Northern factories just as concrete and stone materials; heat insulation elements from Austria and Germany mainly, while glass elements from France and Germany. Machinery for construction is being produced in Northern Europe.
