It wasn´t taken by me, but from this website: http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cidade_da_Cultura_da_Galiza The roof of the buildings (more of a covering, since it rises from the ground) of all the complex is made out of pink quartzite, and most of the 73.000m2 of stone used for that purpose were shipped from Brazil. Also, the project was created by Architect Peter Eisenman, from the United States.
