The picture was taken by me in Menorca, Balearic Islands yesterday. It was taken at the building site of a house I am building for a client. As you can see it is pretty impressive that, every material that appears on it, is not originally form the island. None of the island typical materials were able to be used due to its cost...globalisation! in building supplies make it cheaper to buy them abroad that to buy them on the island!!!!
