I am not an expert but this is my attempt to make it clear. According to the discussion about globalized and localized building materials, I want to reflect a local case which I consider successful in terms of efficiency and economy. This is an economical housing project that is based in Liverpool. The construction components were mainly localized within the country, dropping the initial prices of the houses. The UK manufactured materials included: Bricks, Blocks, Roofs and even Carpets. On the other hand inside each unit you can identify different globalized components, such as: Tiles, Sanitary, and door handles. For example the tiles are Spanish, The Sanitary are divided between Spanish and Emirati, The handles are Chinese. Each component reflects a long manufacturing and delivering process. And This means that no matter how locally focused we are trying to build we can't ignore the fact that there will be involvement with global economies
