While I do not know what these white building materials are, or where they are produced, I do know a bit about the Bobcat construction company and how it evinces the globalized construction industry. The Bobcat company began in Gwinner, North Dakota, which is 10 miles from where I live, and this how I came to learn about the company. Even from the first part of the Wikipedia page, its global presence is noted. Wikipedia reads, "Bobcat Company is an American-based manufacturer of farm and construction equipment, part of Doosan Group of South Korea. Its American headquarters is in West Fargo, North Dakota, USA (formerly in Gwinner, North Dakota - a site which is now strictly a manufacturing facility). Its European headquarters is in Waterloo, Belgium." According to the Bobcat webpage, the business operates on every continent except Antartica. This shows us that not only do materials and building designs circulate globally, so too do the tools and machinery that we use to build buildings. ![enter image description here][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14312993802674224.jpg
