1. Economy 2. Culture 3. Environment 4. Housing 5. Transportation **2. Why do we live where we live?** I live in Mississauga for the following reasons: - Location - my house is located just a few kilometres from downtown Mississauga and in the other direction I can be in the City of Toronto within a few minutes. - Housing - Mississauga is a typical North American suburb and provides relatively affordable single family homes, especially when compared to the City of Toronto. - Transportation - like most North American suburbs, Mississauga is truly built for the automobile. This makes getting to work, running errands or getting to activities relatively easy and quick. - Environment - Lots of parks, open and natural spaces, trails and paths to enjoy all year round. Whether it is just for walking, cycling or going to Lake Ontario. - Multiculturalism - Mississauga is home to people from many different nationalities, this creates opportunities to enjoy different cultures and experience foods, customs and traditions one might not have been able to partake in. My neighbours include people from Portugal, China, Ukraine, Poland and India. ![Downtown City of Mississauga juxtaposed with park and soccer field][1] **3.
