There are cars parked on the pavement which is not allowed, and shows the French love for the car. There are never enough parking spaces in the city so people park in illegal zones. The invisible information illustrated is that people are too dependant on their cars. Public squares should be car free. Public transport is not efficient or regular enough to meet demands. City cycle paths are too dangerous so people are dissuaded to cycle. Only tourist paths that run along the river are maintained. You can also see the road that passes around the square that is used for markets, cafes and concerts. Invisible info: It is a useless road that connects two main roads which have an alternative connection. The road should be pedestrianised, and the shops and restaurants can be accessed on foot if cars were parked a few hundred metres away. This would create a safer, greener and more comfortable public space.
