![enter image description here][1] **Visible information**: Road, people, buses, cars, traffic lights, pedestrian crossings, road markings, buildings, construction cranes, shops, construction barriers, scaffolding, street lights, recyclable waste bins. **2. Identify and present two "invisible information" that can be extracted out of the visible information of this photo.** 1. Given the time of the day and the insignificant number of cars on the road, together with a significant number of pedestrians, we can extract the fact cars are not the most popular mean of commute in central London. (in fact we can see 4 buses on the picture and 5 cars, which would imply around 10 people are travelling by car and around 160 are on the buses at the spot shown) 2. The construction cranes, as well as the scaffolding, indicate the ongoing office/shopping property renovation work being carried out in central London. This would be driven by the demand for such work, implying there is enough disposable income amongst the populace / the office occupiers to make such development economically viable. **3. Select one of your choices from the previous question and describe how this invisible information can become knowledge and contribute to the planning of a more liveable urban space.** Patterns of travel behaviour are ever-changing, and are highly a function of the government policies on the means of transportation used. Observing the bus/car/taxi ratio as well as the overall traffic volume after any changes to the legislation/regulation can contribute to understanding the effectiveness of any new initiatives.
