There are about 2 communication masts, Naked electricity cables, 2 generating sets painted dark grey to the right, nicely landscaped compound with low fence while the other buildings have very high fence with gates. All the houses are 1 storey buildings. Invisible elements: 1. Very narrow roads without parking spaces (evidenced by the no parking sign) and devoid of pedestrian walkways with the drains/gutters exposed. The car opposite the cream fence in front of the white SUV is actually parked on the street, without considering that there is just barely enough space to accommodate 2 cars driving side by side on the street. This eventually resulted in a bit of a traffic jam as the grey SUV next to the low fence was waiting for the white SUV to drive pass before driving forward. The motorcycle riders are not wearing helmets and are actually used as a commercial means of public transportation whereby the rider picks one passenger behind and takes a certain fee to drop the passenger at their destination. No pedestrian movement on this street. Most of the houses on the left have been built without parking spaces to accommodate cars hence the need to park on the street. 2. The presence of the 2 generators indicate that the supply of electricity, even though you can see the high tension electricity cable overhead, is very poor and the people have to rely on generators for supply of power. It is actually so bad that the owner of this house has 2 generators; one to serve during the day and the other at night to rest the one that worked all day. Looking at the first invisible element mentioned In future planning the government needs to take into consideration the need for covered drains which can be used as parking spaces or walkways and make larger roads that can accommodate these features. Also it is essential that the houses are built with enough parking spaces to discourage people from parking on the streets. Proper transportation system should be developed as this would reduce the number of cars on the roads. The availability of sidewalks would encourage people to walk more as the present situation makes the road unsafe to walk on.
