Area with very tall buildings and with a probable high energy consumption. The number of lights on and the amount of restaurants seem to show that it's a residential area as well as a touristic point of interest. The fact of knowing that many people live in this area of the city may help plan the public transportation system, schedules and the like, as well as to expect weekly (and crowded) commuting patterns from/to this area (some of the buildings may have offices as well).
