Some information that is visible from this photo is: farming is a big part of this town, and farming is very successful here, because these are very large grain elevators. Two pieces of invisible information are: 1) Because this photo is the main type of commerce in the city, it reveals that other types of commerce are absent. 2) Other invisible information is that the farmers in this town are well off. Those the photo does not depict that directly, it can be inferred from the success of the industry. The first piece of invisible information, that other types of commerce are uncommon, can become knowledge and contribute the planning of a more livable urban space by making apparent an area of opportunity. This town does not have other industries, but it has wealth, so there is potential for new stores, restaurants, and growth to occur.
