As we can see, it's easy to recognize a quite urbanized area with concrete buildings and a green area. **Visible information**: Concrete buildings and in the landscape some olive tree groves. **Invisible information**: The primary activity of Sannicandro area, especially in the past, was represented by agricultural one that was connected to olive oil production. In fact the buildings that has grey panels is an old oil mill. At the moment it is closed because oil production starts on october and it ends on late winter. The olive tree groves and the prickly pear cactus suggest also a particular climate condition: here we have a mediterranean climate with very warm winter (the snow is a rare phenomena here) and very hot summer. The green aerea in front of oil mill is a trace of this agricultural tradition and it's one of the last green aerea of the past. The shapes of buildings are the evidence of a non precise urban planning of the city. **Future perspectives** : Better integrate the green aerea of the city with their semantic value to urban planning.
