This area was abandoned by the government and was in very poor condition, the avenue was built to bring the population back. 1) Pedestrians and cyclists are a priority, there are many trees that provide a pleasant environment to sit and rest. The avenue is an important route because it connects various parts of the city, increasing the passage of cars. There colleges, universities, libraries, residence and commerce along the avenidade ensuring movement to the neighborhood. 2)Invisible informations: - The number and the reason why cyclists attending the avenue - How many people pass through the avenue, which reason and how they use the space. 3)Knowing the reasons why people attend avenue, improvements could be considered in lighting, urban furniture and landscaping. Perhaps the presence of these people show the need for additional space and squares.
