I want to focus on the (ease of) access and mobility in the city of Islamabad which is designed with a focus on these two aspects. The picture shows 8 cabs, 2 informal public vans 3 private cars and 2 motor bikes as the only modes of transportation for movement on the major road between two important sectors which have government housing and offices. Missing visibly from the scene are walking tracks, zebra crossings, separate cycling tracks and formal public transport system, which may explain the behavior of movement. The invisible information that can be extracted from visible information is which mode of transportation is most commonly used? (How many people use the public transportation system available and private vehicles, how many use cycle or walk) etc. The reason why not many people walk through sectors, although the **city is designed on grid of 2 x 2 km** **for easy accessibility through minimum dependency on the transport**, can bring out how this invisible information can become knowledge and contribute to the planning of a more livable urban space which focuses ease of access also. ![enter image description here][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14292721029264806.jpg
