The name of the park is given by a big cage where you can find songbirds. What we can see here are many trees and among them some benches where people is resting a while. As this park is at the very center of the city, where you can find many government offices and shops, this has become a very busy park at certain hours of the day. What we don't see at the photo is that it was taken at a very hot day, whit almost 35°C and a heat index reaching 45°C. What we don't see here either is that Villahermosa's downtown has non existing wooden areas which makes just walking around an unbearable activity. This park is really an oasis for every person who stops here just to catch their breathe and maybe have a soda at the many little shops you can find around. From my point of view, it is incredible that realizing how much this park is used by general population there are no more parks of this kind at this arid zone of the city.
