Skyways in a cold city
FC-01x Future Cities (1st Run) - Exercise 1 : "Making the Invisible - Visible"

This is a pedestrian walkway in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Visible information: Traffic flow at a low-traffic time, width of streets, height and age of buildings, parked bicycles and wide sidewalks. Invisible information: Traffic volume at other times of day, as gauged by width of streets. Building occupancy, climate (cold winters and hot summers are managed for residents by this large network of sky tunnels), energy consumption of tunnels, improvements to road traffic by removal of pedestrian traffic, and improved pedestrian safety in the heart of a city. I'm sorry, but I did not take this one photo. All others are my own. This is from creative commons, through tech.mn. [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/1432684455971347.jpg [2]: http://
