A café situated on the right hand side of the picture invites customers to sit outside for a drink. Buildings on the left side of the street reveal a wide-range of street art, including political messages. "Invisible information" (1): The pedestrian street suggests an importance for large cities to preserve their historical centres from traffic, pollution and for their touristic opportunities and the well-being of inhabitants. "Invisible information" (2): The large presence of street art, which includes political messages, indicates an interest from local citizens to communicate and interact through art as well as to participate in the embellishment of their city. The latter "invisible information" may suggest a willingness of the community to interact with its citizenship in a participatory way. The growing presence of street art, including political messages, throughout a city would indicate that communication and interaction is growingly channeled through art and that citizens want to directly take part in the beautification of their city. Thus, a more liveable urban space could include citizen-led educational programmes for art as well as areas dedicated for street art to foster personal expression and promote inclusiveness.
