It shows three trains, train tracks, passenger decks, passenger check points, train electric lines, time, destinations, passengers cues. Two invisible information that can be extracted from this picture are the flow of passengers and the electric consumption the train has. Chamartin trains station is the main point of communication by train between Madrid and north Spain. Through this station every day tens of trains leave and arrive and within those, thousand of passengers transit at the station. With the information taken about passengers flows, it is possible to know if the actual dimension of the station, the frequency of the trips and the destinations are suitable for the people needs.... It provides the opportunity to improve. Also it could be useful to design, plan and improve services related with the station operations (food, cleaning, waste management, information services, access to the station, parking lots, etc.). Additionally, It's an important information to consider when it comes the moment to plan the expansion of transport services, new urban developments and general city planning. For example, it will be possible to know which is the purpose of the passengers travel (tourism, business, etc) and with this information, design infrastructure that supports this activities.
