Mardi district, Cairo, Egypt 1-Visible information: The huge contrast between buildings height, Unused sandy plots of land, unplanted part of the island in the middle of the river nile, Street network parallel to the river. 2-Invisible information: a-the light pattern that will come out of the grid designed windows of the towers and the hospital as well. b- the desert sandy nature of the area that can be seen in all the unused plots including the unplanted island in the middle of the river. 3- the invisible information about the nature of the land extracted from the unused areas of lands that shows the sandy desert nature of the whole land before it became urban area could help us to plan more livable urban spaces as it shows that it is applicable to farm this kind of soil and build high rise buildings as well.
