Uploaded on 2015-04-28 by JulianGaviria
This photo was taken a Wednesday at 8:15 in the morning, and can be seen people walking in all directions toward their office places judging by the time and the clothes they are wearing. This road intersection is big enough to contain many cars inside, which indicates the constant traffic flow that needs to pass thru every moment. The constructions around shows a typical office buildings. In the middle of the photography is located a "immediate attention center"which is a police station for a rapid response in the near area. This is an evidence of the necessity to control the zone The building on the left is a bank and its offices, crossing the streets there are a couple more, to the right of the picture is a 5 stars hotel. This is a point where many things happen and where the flows re-directs to different destinations. Two invisible things can be considered as travel behaviors and urban functions. In order to make sure what is exactly happening; in the case of travel behavior we can analyze how every day at the rush hours this zone gets packed of people and cars, during night and weekends is more quiet. The population that comes is adult in its majority. Based on the urban function information it can be seeing that this zone is a financial sector due to the facilities related to these activities. This knowledge can lead to a better understanding of the zone and to lead a design of a traffic plan in order to make this place a better part of the city to live and work accordingly to the needs of the sector of population that comes everyday to this area and to distribute better the flows toward a quality life in this neighborhood. ![7th Avenue, Bogota D.C.
