The residential buildings are typically multi-level - some containing a modest size backyard lot. Although no people are present in the photo, due to the multi-level buildings one can expect a reasonably high population in this area. Furthermore, one can see a mix of old and new based off the wear and tear oft he siding and the inclusion of roof decks. 2) Invisible Information: The high density leads one to view this area as an urban area. Due to the variety of condition in buildings one can surmise that it is going through a certainly level of gentrification. Additionally, the industrial type buildings show that business is well integrated. In this particular instance, the lack of exhaust from the smoke stakes indicated that the business may no longer be active (in this case they are not - it was a power plant). This shows a shift in the zoning and new development of the area. 3) Given that the power plant is no longer in use it could be dismantled and turned into a park, remodeled into additional living space, or some type of community center. The additional business on the bottom right edge may be a good place to buy out and replace with additional housing units.
