1. Water (flow) - City of the Three Rivers, home to the Monongahela, Allegheny, and Ohio rivers (The Allegheny and Monogahela combine to form the Ohio). The availability of water in the Pittsburgh area is vital for transportation of large coal barges to the energy plants, while also offering recreational use to boaters in the area. I would like to see changes made to clean the whole river system. The water is very dark brown from discharge, mud and sediment. I believe the city's boating community would boom if the water was cleaner for recreational use. 2. People (flow) - In 2014 Allegheny County had a 5.3% unemployment rate. Pittsburgh offers numerous service related employment, from tech to steel worker. The city is transitioning from a hard working manual labor force of the steel mills into a new generation focusing on tech service and I believe the people of Pittsburgh will continue with that trend. 3. Bridges (stock) - Accoding to the local news, WTAE (http://www.wtae.com/Just-How-Many-Bridges-Are-There-In-Pittsburgh/7685514), Pittsburgh has a total of 446 bridges, officially making Pittsburgh the city with the most bridges in the world. This has helped with transportation to and from the city, however the large number of bridges creates a massive burden on maintenance and infrastructure improvements. In the near future, more resources will need to be allocated to repair of bridges in the city. *Please note that the image is not mine, & not to be used in any publications, but merely for demonstration purposes.][1] [1]: https://edxuploads.s3.amazonaws.com/14331051306496035.jpg
