Moscow has been for many years elected the worst city where to drive, due to the very dense traffic. 1. CARS Flow :On this picture you can see New Arbat street, which is one of the main radial road, linking external rings with the very center of the city. It carries thousands of cars every hour of the day and of the night, both ways, on 9 lanes. This is for the flow. Stock :The street is also a dynamic commercial area with many shops, malls and restaurants. A nice pedestrian area has been created, from which we can hardly see the cars, thanks to smartly designed green spaces. This attracts many people, who need to park. A third of the width of the street is dedicated to car parks, which you can also see on this picture. This is for the stock. 2. FOOD Flow : Trucks are also part of this flow of cars and deliver food to the many restaurants of the street. Which then cook them and sell them to the people. Who, in the end, eat it. Stock : The restaurants and food shops are the food stocks in the area. They may not keep the food for long though. 3. GREENERY It may not be the biggest part of the street but it is one of the key to its attractivity. Large grass and bushes areas separate the pedestrian sidewalk from the cars. Stock : It is not only decoration but also a stock of earth, plants and CO2. Flow : A team of city gardeners ensure the flow and bring all green elements needed.
