As per usual is a crowded place with a variety of stocks and flows. The most important are Transportation, Land and Infrastructure. **Transportation** Since San Salvador is just 72,25 km² transportation should not be a major issue, however, since the beginning of the 2000, the streets basically collapsed due the automators traffic. Ever since, the government has invested in numerous improvements and new paths and also on the redistribution of the popular transportation but, even though the cars surcharge hasn't stop. Just to make an example, around 1500 public transportation units and over 100 thousand vehicles transit the city every single day. Now the phenomena of those vehicles is that around the half enter the city in the morning and left in the afternoon, that means that only half of the population that's in the city during the day (6:00 18:00) lives in the vicinities and comes to the city for the daily activities. **Land** As one of the most importan stocks of the city, land defines not just the borders but also the capacity it has to sustain the population's life activities. As mentioned in the previos paragraph, San Salvador is a small city in extension but definitely not in population. With around 317 thousand inhabitants and 4,375 hab/km² San Salvador is for sure an overcrowded city. As you can see in the photos, during the day is difficult to identify the concentration of population, but during the night we can see the areas of which the massive people concentrations are located and how the borders of the land are pretty well define but the natural highs and by ease terms without human living interactions. **Infrastructure** San Salvador is quite distinct from the rest of cities in the country, first of all is the only city with high buildings (above 50 meters), the vertical life concept, peripheral rings, multiple bridges, diversity of universities and schools, government facilites, big malls, etc. San Salvador is pretty well know for the fast growing and expansion, also the paced life of the people in it. Since 1980's El Salvador has experience three major earthquakes of which without historical records people wouldn't even believe they happened, this means, Salvadorans especially the people from the capital, have this perspective of fast living life that in some aspects, are good for the life standards improvement, unfortunately is not just the spirit and intentions those that enhance the life quality.
